Huntington West Virginia
February 8th & 9th 2008
Big Sandy Superstore Arena

The Huntington Arenacross Championship will return Friday and Saturday night February 8th & 9th to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia. Action Sports brought arenacross to West Virginia in 1987 and continued to promote the event every year through 1999. Pace Motorsports now live Nation, purchased the event after the 1999 event and conducted the race through 2004. We received a call from the Arena inviting us back to promote the event again and we were very eager to accept. The Huntington round was one of our favorites. A great group of mini, amateur, and pro riders have always supported the race and sellout crowds of loyal motorcycle racing enthusiasts pack the arena for two fun and exciting shows.

Competitors beginning at 5 years old along with amateur riders of all ages and skill levels and two classes of professional riders from all over the country that are seeking stardom on the National racing circuit will make the field in this weekend’s event. The pro’s will also try to win their share of the $10,000.00 prize money.

The race track will consist of sections of rockers along with double, triple and tabletop jumps that will keep the riders flying over 60 feet through the air all weekend long.

The doors open Friday and Saturday at 6:00 PM for the 7:30 show Tickets are available in advance at ticketmaster.com and the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Box office. Tickets can also be charged by phone at 304-696-4400. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the show for $20.00 adult and $10.00 for kids. All seats are reserved. The events usually last 2 ½ to three hours.
